Access to the upper roof-level of a London apartment
Another of Rayward’s one-off projects included the design and installation of a staircase reach to the new upper roof level of an apartment in London.
The design was a contemporary staircase, finished with mild steel powder coated handrails and European oak treads which complement the space. We also included sleek balustrades around the atrium area to finish off the project.
However, the project was not without its challenges; the apartment was on the sixth floor and transporting a staircase in the lift was not an option. We had to install these stairs by bringing the staircase up six storeys in individual sections.
