In the second phase of work, in a separate building, we installed 22 storeys of matching steel balustrades alongside a steel-framed staircase and designed special brackets and stair noses, which were attached to the concrete cores of the building.
We completed the second phase of the project with a striking staircase leading from the vast space of the double-height entrance hall. This custom-built staircase turns back on itself, trimming the side of the new access lift and extending to the mezzanine level at the north core entrance. Its bold colour and sharp design adds great character to the space.
Over the course of the project, the value of our contract doubled and, as a result of its success, Rayward is now on Multiplexes approved supplier list.
We were pleased to play our part in this ambitious and innovative project which has won a host of awards, including the RIBA National Award 2018.
